Chief: Violent offenses fell 5.1%. Property crime trends discussion. Bicycle theft is a common property offense in Victoria. "At its peak in 2015, more than 800 bikes were stolen in a single year." Through provincial CSTEP funding, identified individuals involved in bike thefts. Positive results.

Honestly wish we were using opportunities like this to try and steer the government TOWARDS something - Like this isn't 100% on Justin at all but man i wish people with access were asking questions like "Because BC housing is involved is this an opportunity to socialize these units?" #yyj #yyjpoli

The B.C. government spending five days "we're working on the details of the empty condo plan" and then saying "don't worry, it WON'T be for Vancouver!" is turning a big dial that says "developers" on it and constantly looking back at the audience for approval like a contestant on the price is right

... People are seriously concerned enough about /ship breaking/ at ogden point they're writing council? We're so, so, so, cooked. The JBNA is ridiculously toxic. #yyj #yyjpoli
