Trying to quantify something that by its nature refuses to be quantified is peak delusion. All of which will be trained without consent on the work of people who got their “taste” through human effort and experiences. This is a buzzword in search of investment dollars.

It’s so true. When I interact with human support for a brand I immediately get the sense they care more for their customers and have a higher quality product. The opposite can be said when I’m forced into interacting with synthetic humans trying to fain human behavior and empathy.

Decoder has become my absolute favorite podcast covering tech. It’s a must listen for any designer who wants to hear directly from some of the most influential people in tech. Particularly because @reckless.bsky.social seems to give 0 fucks when it comes to asking actually pressing questions.
