We always have that option in our 2017 Chevy Bolt EV, but it also has the optical rear-view mirror and side mirrors that have proximity sensors. Tech is fine as long as it acts as a back-up, actually helps you, and isn't the only option.

They replaced one of the most reliable & intuitive safety features in a car with a digital surrogate that could glitch at any moment. KEEP ANALOG SAFTEY FEATURES

The problem is, even if there is a process, it relies on people being transparent and the senate enforcing the rules. And that is clearly not going to happen in this regime.
Talarico’s argument is simple: Stop treating marijuana like a crime. Legalize it. Regulate it. Tax it. Stop wasting police resources on low-level marijuana offenses. Clear the records of people whose lives have been derailed by nonviolent marijuana convictions.
This is morally repugnant and only makes sense strategically once you admit to yourself that most Republican voters support candidates who beat their wives and children.
