An AI story: I set up a meeting with an expert I’ve worked with before to help debug my Android build. He said he was too busy and suggested Claude. Claude solved my debug issues, but I don’t understand what it did. I keep having issues, I keep asking Claude to solve them. 🧵

I recommend against using AI when teaching new topics. It doesn't make sense. You learn nothing from writing a prompt.
I think it was a big mistake to make generative AI chatbots talk in the first person. AI is not an “I”. AI is not a being.

I think this is a really great point. I’ve had *moments* with Cursor where it’s been 10x faster than what I’d have done by hand, and those moments are super memorable. But most of the time, my experience is a lot more mixed.
