Very happy that my favourite Swedish Fuzz merchants MONOLORD have dropped a new single 🎶
With Farage trying to Do the 92 and Braverman attacking FA efforts to increase diversity in football coaching, this is very timely.
Looking forward to this #itfc

Kudos @bluemondayitfc.bsky.social I was initially critical about how some of our (checks notes) "Fan Media" had dealt with this saga and felt some weren't using their platform effectively. Rich & Ben did a grand job last night piecing everything together. Kudos 👏 #itfc 💙

Even as Ipswich's CEO is trying to sorry-not-sorry his way out of allowing Nigel Farage to use the club to amplify its message of hate, Reform are trolling the Ipswich women's team. Perhaps now the CEO will finally realise what he's done and resign.
Sad to see #itfc now being trolled by Reform UK by reposting and repurposing Louise Cobbold's match day programme art for today's Women's game at Portman Rd 😢
The only Ipswich Number 10 I recognise is Conor Chaplin
Too little Too late Zero accountability. Says there's been some mistruths but doesn't address them. "I'm sorry you're upset" type energy. It's our fault for being upset. How silly of us. We're like mushrooms - fed on 💩 and kept in the dark! Ashton out. Tired of the BS now. #itfc

Mark Ashton, Your time at the club has to end now I'm afraid. As CEO & Chairman the buck stops with you and as fans we've been lied to and gaslit. This IS the end. Not the end of the beginning. Not the beginning of the end. The end. All the best, thanks for 99% of what you've done. #itfc 💙

Nigel Farage’s visit to Ipswich Town this week has sparked a major backlash. Fans have accused the club of allowing itself to be used for political purposes, but there is also internal dissent at the club’s handling of the affair. @dansheldon.bsky.social on a chaotic 72 hours.
Logged back into my X account the other day, deary me what a sorry state of affairs that platform is now. Interesting however to see which prominent #itfc accounts either haven't said anything at all or are calling anyone with a problem to be "leftist", "woke" "wet wipes" etc. True colours etc
Ipswich Town is a special football club. They’ve got so many things right over the past five years and beyond. But they got this badly wrong - and now they should apologise. My thoughts ⬇️ #itfc www.eadt.co.uk/sport/259698...
No reply to my letter (yet) + Nothing further from any senior figures at the club. Starve something of oxygen and it usually dies. Interesting that Talksport quoted an unofficial quote from inside the club about the after effects. This isn't going away anytime soon I don't think. #itfc

I first leaned towards thinking that Farage's disastrous photo-op at Portman Road was due to incompetence (and Reform tricking the club into letting it happen). But that was before Ipswich Town FC released this statement. Clearly, they knew what would be staged, and went along with it.

Here we go. The Athletic has evidence that Ipswich falsely briefed that it didn't know about the visit. "[We have] seen a message sent by an associate of a senior club figure to a Reform official asking for a meeting with Farage during his visit to the town." www.nytimes.com/athletic/714...

Speaks volumes that our CEO & Chairman (yes, it's a dual role) comes out and speaks directly to the media when a player receives a retrospective ban but hasn't been seen yet when actual important stuff goes down #itfc Credit BBC Suffolk
This statement from #ITFC is utterly pathetic it really is. It wildly misses the point of the majority of our issues with the visit last night. I remain firm in that I would like actual answers from the so-called leaders of our club. This has gone from bad to worse
