watched return to silent hill last night, and I feel like a big problem with most later silent hill 2 interpretations and adaptations is that they try to justify/downplay James' actions, like it is actually very important for the original game's point that you understand that what James did is evil
Post Halloween horror movie marathon update: this year’s marathon was kinda lame compared to previous years, didn’t watch as many movies (only 5), they weren’t that great, didn’t get through all the snacks, and went to bed slightly earlier. All in all, just okay, gotta prepare better next year
4th film: Return to Silent Hill I have too many thoughts to fit here, but this was atrocious in every regard, completely misunderstands everything it's trying to adapt, and is downright disgusting in its treatment of the themes of SH2. Fuck everything about this

Nine to Five was soooo good, too bad it ends on the note of "the bad boss gets kidnapped by savage tribesmen in the amazon". That part kinda soured me a bit on it, really went from a 10 to a 9 because of that
