I’m on the project board for NCISH … I’m mainly retired .. I love my two cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛ and life in my van with my wife

I was thinking about the past having a rupture(falling out) with my therapist the term used in therapy. I think it was more a rupture with the system of the NHS not the person. Measures that capture a snippet in time and given no time to fill them in, which give you labels. Enforced boundaries

My daughter finished work today on a psychiatric ward and starts her Dclin in a couple of weeks !! Very proud she’s worked so hard for 9 years and in a few years we’ll have a doctor in the house .. or her house ☺️

Cold virus today so feeling meh and I’m under consultant for oesophageal spasm awaiting next steps after three separate tests so it’s op or botox!! …consultant for dermatology awaiting patch testing … consultant for orthopaedics awaiting a bunion op ..

There have been so many impeachable offenses, but lying about how you were a hero on a day that 2,753 people died in NYC in the 9/11 disaster—when you were on the other side of town, safely calling local media to brag about how you now had the tallest downtown building—is such a despicable one

We need to keep suicide prevention in mind all year round. We know it’s so important and for those who have died by suicide and those bereaved it’s so bloody sad and we can all help. Seeing Papyrus closing its doors is a disaster as young people need our support more than ever. #Suicide prevention

Struggling to work out why Jenrick would single out these three Commonwealth countries rather than, say, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, whose citizens have exactly the same rights. It’s a head-scratcher.

The realisation it’s the first day of Autumn tomorrow !! Crunchy leaves acorns Conkers Halloween and Bonfire night .. Goodbye late nights in the garden feeling the warm sun on my face and neighbours chatting across the fence. Oh I do dislike the short days and dark nights though. Low ….

About time it’s a step in the right direction .. telling people they have BPD in a letter after short meetings when you’re a woman with sexual abuse history is so so wrong and then the stigma that follows you through physical and mental health settings is awful diagnostic overshadowing is a thing

Klaus Mitchell sat down with Leader of The Green Party for England and Wales Zack Polanski. Filmed at Vegan Camp Out. Thanks so much to Branded By Photography and Castle Frame Pictures for capturing this interview.

Reform to make long-term jobless clean streets for 20 hrs a week or no benefits. Training, education? Age 60/65, can't work, can't retire, can't see doctor, no local jobs; just clean streets. What future for old, sick, disabled and victims of redundancies? Will it all be policed at gunpoint?

Reform say people on benefits should be cleaning the streets or face being stripped of their cash | LBC

The policy would be part of a series of changes to welfare and benefits under a Reform government that would stop some claimants “taking everyone else for mugs”, the party says.

I’ve had some media attacks in the past, and thank goodness I’ve managed to contain suicidal thoughts since my late 30s. But this - including Novara, Guardian and Channel 4 News by the end — would have probably finished me off

Looks like you may get to see someone in an emergency A&E, if they can find staff to staff them, but for any lasting care, forget it. Maybe patching people up for the job market is more important than actually helping them? www.theguardian.com/society/2026...
