It’s fitting that Grisham made the last out. Cashman’s mistake was offering him that contract, thinking there was any chance he’d come close to last year. Then Boone was stupid enough to bat him leadoff and guarantee he’d get the most ABs in an elimination game.

What an absolute disgrace. Grisham getting the start (and getting the season-endint at-bat) is disgusting. If Hal had any care for this team at all Cashman and Boone would be fired tonight.
