It was a pleasure to attend today’s dedication ceremony of Emily’s Playground. The St Ebbe’s playground has been upgraded following a generous donation by Emily’s family. What a fitting tribute. It will be opening shortly. The surface needs cooler weather to set properly.

It is disappointing that SGN have announced that gas works will see the opening of the Botley Road delayed by a further 4-6 weeks. The continued closure is extremely disruptive. Pleased that @anneliesedoddsmp.bsky.social is pressing for works to be completed urgently.

I am extremely happy to hear that the High Court has granted the County Council an injunction against Raise the Colours. It's right that those who undertake this illegal, unauthorised activity, aimed at intimidating and dividing our community, face the full force of the law.

I am really glad to hear that Oxfordshire County Council has been granted a hearing date of 23rd June for its application for an injunction against Raise the Colours. Robust action needs to be taken against those who break the law to divide our communities. news.oxfordshire.gov.uk/injunction-t...

Fab to see the new perch bench by the Howard Street (southbound) bus stop finally installed. It may have only taken 18 months, but time well spent! A perfect spot to take the weight off whilst waiting for a bus to the Kassam, Wallingford or Reading.

Great to join Anna and Siobhan out in New Hinksey this morning talking with residents. Residents pleased about the swift action to provide additional bins in the Park during the holidays and warm weather. Also, got to check out the future gym on Abingdon Rd!

Fantastic to see the first ‘cycle street’ being introduced in Cambridge. Disappointing that Oxfordshire County Council is only interested in rural routes for its new ‘Quiet Routes’. Barracks Lane and Meadow Lane would be prime candidates for safety improvements.
