Lucy is wearing a wine-coloured top and a long blue skirt with a red and white flower pattern, the pattern also containing green leaves. She’s wearing black shoes with white socks. Mike is wearing a black shirt under a baggy sweater, the sweater containing a tan, yellow, and white pattern. His right arm has an elbow brace exposed, and he’s also wearing a black drawing glove. He’s just wearing white socks otherwise. Mike looks tired, Lucy looks a little annoyed, Mike is just standing and staring at Lucy while she stares back, her right hand resting on Mike’s shoulder and her left hand resting on her hip.

Panel 1 Lucy: __Sure__ you don’t wanna smack it up a bit? Mike, rubbing his eye after crying: Ugh.. I’m too drained to be angry right now. Panel 2 Mike, cricking his back: I feel like.. I was carrying something really heavy, and now.. it’s just gone. Lucy, smiling: Breakups can do that. Panel 3 Lucy, feeling the snow fall onto her hand: It’s getting pretty late, you know. Panel 4 Lucy: Do you think you’ll be okay? Mike: I dunno.. Panel 5 Mike, touching his chest with his hands, face off-sceen: It hurts.. Panel 6 Lucy, smiling: You’ve dealt with worse. Panel 4 Mike stands by his locker, frowning at Paulo. Behind him, two shadowy shapes approach. Mike: I'll save up for one instead! It's better than having to deal with your crap. Panel 5 Paulo: Oh, you're so mad. Mike looks away, frowning. Behind him, the two shadowy shapes face away from Mike. Exclamation points appear over their heads. Mike: Shut up. None of you guys take me seriously.. Panel 6 Paulo: Oh, I'm sorry, dude. Wanna talk about it? Mike smiles, looking surprised. He puts his hand back in his locker. Behind him, a shadowed figure runs away. Mike: What, really? Panel 7 Paulo: Actually, I don't give a rat's ass HAHAHAHAH Mike frowns, staring at Paulo with a hurt expression. He pulls a "MATH WORK BOOK FOR DUMMIES" from his locker. Behind Mike, dark figures approach. Panel 8 *Mike scowls and slams his locker shut. His outstretched arm inadvertently blocks Tess and Lucy as they run up behind him.* Mike: Why do I BOTHER with you, Paulo?! Panel 9 Mike looks startled as Tess and Lucy run up, looking furious. The panel darkens behind them. Panel 10 Mike stands in front of Paulo, cringing with his fur and tail puffed out. Lucy and Tess lean toward Paulo with furious expressions, their tails bristling in irritation and arms straight at their sides. Paulo stares at them without reaction, still holding his soda. Panel 3 shows Mike sitting there, thinking it over, with a small surprise. But not necessarily joy. Panel 2 Daisy, touching her face: No, seriously, WHAT? Panel 3 Mike, turned away from Daisy, his expression not visible: I thought.. this’d make me and Sandy even now, right? If she’s gonna keep secrets, might as well have one of my own. Panel 4 Mike, looking annoyed and defeated: Ugh, that’s so dumb. Why do I want to make things fair? None of this is fair. LIFE isn’t fair. None of this matters. Panel 5 Mike, burying his face into his blue scarf: Maybe Paulo knew what he was talking about. I could have let all those girls do whatever they wanted to me. Why not if I’m just gonna get cheated on anyway. Panel 6 Mike, turning to look at Daisy: Why’d I never give you a chance? We should have dated. We could’ve— Panel 7 Daisy suddenly kisses Mike passionately on the lips, there are swirls in her eyes to show how crazy she’s being. Mike is in utter shock and blushes brightly. Panel 8 The make-out continues, as Mike wraps his arms around Daisy and they continue this absurd affair.

While thinking about old internet pet peeves I realised that I stopped drawing myself as tired as I used to! Could it be self-esteem? Could it be laziness/not really caring for accuracy? You tell me! Either way what a weird time that was, to police people’s avatars lol #comic #diarycomic #autobio

Another old internet peeve I used to notice is cutesy cartoony characters representing the artist getting pushback from commenters, who think they need to make themselves “uglier” to represent the artist more. Avatar: I represent the artist! Commenter: You’re not fat or ugly enough you narcissist! So I needed to draw raccoon eyes on myself, I must depict sufficient ugliness. 2009 me had features such as raccoon eyes and messy hair, always looking sick and tired. I considered adding my mole for a while. I felt like a real liar otherwise. I thought, "I’m not remotely cute..” which resulted in drawing myself looking tired, sick, and messy. Anyway I noticed I stopped drawing my raccoon eyes recently. Turns out I stopped giving a shit! I shrug at this realisation! Maybe I just WANT to draw a cute lil cartoon me! Kinda bored of self-hatred! I say this while giving a thumbs up and a goofy cute little anime face with sparkles in the background.
