Animan The 1st chapter covers pretty much what you would expect for the whole series & is a bit to on the nose. It gets more interesting after that. None of the twists (of which there are several) have shocked me but have made me interested in what is going on. I will continue reading it. #manga

I feel like a good 75% of my email anymore is me unsubscribing to stuff. It isn't even spam. It is stuff that used to send something out once a month. Now it feels like they send stuff out daily. I don't want anymore email. Please stop.

Not a 1:1 this feels like another movie pass, where they thought people wouldn't use the service that much. Gamepass has been losing money for years. I feel this shouldn't have come as a surprise to MS. Companies need to stop throwing money at sinking ship to fix it and do actual damage control.

I see I need to make a clearer point. Framing things this way puts the blame on the consumer - the consumer that spends hundreds of millions of dollars on subs every month - as though it is their fault for freeloading. But is it the consumer's fault that the model was built the way it was? No.

My parents were low income so I often just browsed game shops as a kid. Sometimes mum let me get a game. It'd cost her whole day's wage and a chunk of our rent. Dad once told me to check under the car seat and Pokemon Red was there in a bag. Ownership isn't the only thing we lose with physical media

Little perspective trick to have characters standing at different depths in the scene; if you think of the character like a geometric object like any other, they scale towards the horizon like any object. A quick way to eyeball this is they’ll intersect the horizon at the same place at any scale

Nice. I put in a suggestion to the local library system to get "See You In Memories" and "The Box Man" a couple of weeks ago, and I just got a couple of emails saying they will be purchasing them.
