In 2021, there were roughly 101 gender clinics offering care to transgender youth offering a full range of gender affirming care. By July 2026, there are only about 31 left that still prescribe hormones and puberty blockers.

First thing I see after taking a break from social media 😞
A father in Idaho, speaking to police after his child died by suicide: “There is a huge amount of animosity, every single day, thrown at trans kids. The whole fucking country. The whole fucking administration, every single fucking day.” Please read this important story by @joyurcaba.bsky.social

Idaho pushed anti-trans laws for years. Then a teen died.
The life and death of May Pollard, 16, provides a window into the tragic effect that legislation and political rhetoric have had on trans people in America.

Community isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we do. 🖤
👋🏾 Loves. My phone has been off, I haven’t been able to work, because I’ve been without my medication all week can’t afford copays 🤢. my abuser used a “helping” offer to assault me again. I’m still trying to relocate and survive. 🖤 #artist #disability #helpsky #lgbtq #furry #blm #disability #transsky
Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is hard fought, but guaranteed when we organize and refuse to back down. The work is not done. Today, we celebrate Black American resistance and resilience, and recommit to the transformation required to deliver real equity and justice for all.
I grew up in Texas, and I had the mandatory Texas History class. I remember asking my teacher why Texas wanted independence from Mexico. His response was "the people didn't feel they were being represented in Mexico City." Not one word about the root cause - Mexico had abolished slavery.
Happy Juneteenth! If you’re white and you have today off, be sure to use your time productively. Shop from a black-owned business, donate to a social justice organization, read up on white privilege… there are so many things you can do to celebrate in a meaningful way. ☺️
Also let me recommend historian Annette Gordon Reed’s “On Juneteenth” for your summer reading list. I felt vindicated reading that Reed, a Texan, always saw Juneteenth as a Texas celebration. Her dive into the complicated history of Texas, slavery, integration & this holiday is riveting.
Today I’m reflecting on how far we’ve come, while also thinking about how much work remains. Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth and Pride.
No shade… Juneteenth is for BLACK Americans. Can we have anything to ourselves?
Happy #Juneteenth 🦋✊🏽💜 A few years ago I had the honor of directing this very special episode of #theproudfamilylouderandprouder 🫶🏽 #disneyplus #theproudfamily
I’m actually dealing with serious unstable housing now. So there’s REALLY no reason for me to even be here in Idaho any more.
When somebody being angry at you becomes a secret conspiracy, you are in a cult When you cannot criticize the actions of your leadership, you are in a cult When you revise history to fit your narrative, you are in a cult When you think “the few must be sacrificed for the many” you are in a cult
Don't like what you're saying? What you're saying is designed to cause division and infighting, and it's right out of the handbook of a group intentionally trying to harm the U.S., many of which are outside the country in RU and CN, and when you get called out for it, you cry, "orientalism". 😂
That’s what makes the gap between law and reality so important to talk about. The existence of a law and the experience of living under it aren’t always the same thing
Today we celebrate Juneteenth, the day freedom's news finally reached the last enslaved Americans in Texas, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Justice delayed is justice denied. We honor those before us and recommit to the fight for civil rights and equal justice.
