Saw Boorman and the Devil. I enjoyed it but there's defintely no way (for me) retconning his sequel as anything other laughable and boring. Plus, he says he doesn't like horror movies so 🫠 - I liked Linda Blair in this, she's wonderful.

He seems oblivious to the fact that learning languages develops analytical and interpretative skills that he wants schools to teach. And how would you know if the translations are wrong?

I saw this in 3D in the cinema (at a retro screening in LA, I'm not that old) - Shelly was there for the Q and A! Honestly, the 3D - even from a 35mm print - was pretty dire.
