Me: The new agent harness is great. You feed your tokens into the machine. Then you run simulations which, if successful, produces tickets. If they fail you have to buy more tokens and keep running the sims. Once you have enough tickets you can redeem them Boss: are you at dave & busters, yes or no

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

#KindleBookGiveAway I'm in a bad mood. Time to do something positive about it. So, here are 10 copies of Glass Houses by @madelineashby.bsky.social . There are so many guns on mantelpieces and Ashby takes them down and uses them. It's also some really good, compelling writing.

#KindleBookGiveAway I seem to have finally gotten my brains back after a round of not Covid, not flu. To celebrate, here are some books. Specifically, The Uploaded by @theferrett.bsky.social
Anyone else out there come down with not the flu, not Covid and feel like their brain could barely work after? It's been 2 weeks since I last had symptoms and I'm finally feeling normal again.
Anyone that follows me have a game shop that can help @czedwards.bsky.social out?
If you work at a gaming store and have Rich Burlow’s Order of the Stick books on your shelf, I would like to make an order from you. spouse has requested, and since he really does rarely request anything, I would like to fulfill this if possible.
#KindleBookGiveaway After this weekend, let's try something light and kind of fun. Raymond St. Elmo's As I Was On My Way to Strawberry Fair is light and fun. I've read it, enjoyed it and recommend it. It's about a young man that goes to the Ren Fair (a thinly disguised Texas Ren Fair) and...

Lord, yes! I cannot stand it in video. Tell me why I should buy your book. Do it on self promo Sundays at r/fantasy, your BlueSky account or somewhere, but write it down. If I have to drag through video I feel the urge to purchase going down.
If it helps: as a consumer I don't want to watch a video of someone promoting their book. It's a written medium, I want a written summary. But then, I'm a grumpy old millennial who hates how everything seems to be in video format these days.

I've been a fan of Penn and Teller for years and that Penn has the courage to do this makes me respect and admire him more for it.
Good on Penn Jillette. Having to come to terms with your entire political identity and philosophy being wrong is not easy and most people could never do it.
