top 3 gaming experiences: - starting silksong - hitting a defensive in an MMO and knowing you would’ve died without it - killing a jackal with 2 shots in halo

truly what is the endgame of the PIF's interest in trying to manufacture culture on their terms that justifies all of this outrageous spending
EA officially goes private tonight, meaning: - EA will no longer trade on the NASDAQ for the first time in 36 years - All stockholders of EA (including many employees) will receive $210/share - EA will take on $18 billion (!) in debt, putting it on the hook to pay ~$1.8 billion/year in interest
i can't stop myself from crying laughing when i look at this clip where a destroyer just yeets himself into my team because he's John Marathon
pov: you haven't reached clearance 3 because you instead finally found the team that had been speedrunning the compiler process and stealing every monitor on the map before you

there have been an alarming amount of people who have been bringing their gold circuit breakers into cryo this past couple of days without realizing that the mod is still disabled and it has definitely been getting them killed because i now have them :)
From's Souls games are brutal and relentless because Miyazaki wants to believe in your ability to have faith in your fellow man, as he does. from a 2010 about Demon Souls: www.eurogamer.net/souls-surviv...
There's no correct way to defeat a souls boss because the games do not exist in a purely single player environment and encourage build variability. If FromSoftware doesn't want you to do something they tend to patch it out. Also, ultimately, who gives a shit what other people do in their home.
a couple of friends are playing halo (through the master chief collection) for the first time and it's so funny to go back through the history and go "oh yeah bungie pivoted to a new title in the span of months as they were on the brink of financial ruin, saved by a million-dollar acquisition"
oomf was going to infodump autistic-style in my dms but i was 5 minutes late in replying so now it will never happen my bad
i am a fool for expecting metaphor refantazio to be like a pretty nice 40-50 hours game but wow is the pacing for any difficulty higher than normal completely abysmal. are all atlus games like this?
at the stage in my life where i see funny baby videos and send it to my friends who have babies so they can go "true"
cleared a cryo lobby out for a separate team of children accompanied by who i assume was their father and watched them open vault 4 then donated security tags so they could exfil LMAO
sometimes you get a couple of minutes to yourself and you ask how or why the universe exists and then you understand durandal and how terrifying existence is
saw the clip of he-man beating the shit out of skeletor from the live-action movie and unfortunately i do need more superhero action to be like that.
remembered that rowan left me this doohickey as i consider reinstalling ffxiv and i might set out to become a god gamer enabled by an mmo peripheral
A few days ago someone in a chat I’m in shared this screenshot and I genuinely, unironically dismissed it as a poorly made “modern AAA version of” meme because it didn’t even cross my mind this could be real
Maaaan the Halo remake is exhaustingly Modern in its bullshit... Cortana has all kinds of extra tutorial dialogue. The intro of invisible elites, instead of being a scary moment of guys suddenly dropping dead around you, is her going "Invisible elites!! Look for distortions in the air!" Christ alive
this person gained over 2 million credits today
guy in a server i'm in posted this
wdym the reason my entire team's game crashed was because of someone doing a contract on Dire Marsh
alright chud time over. nolan's thesis for the odyssey is very cool, but odysseus is heavily sanitized to become a perfect vehicle for what nolan has internalized that and therefore his film conforms around this, damaging the rest of the world/story at times.
i’m not well read enough to have the ability to criticize or nitpick nolan’s choices but i also think he just really enjoys making stories about the way different kinds of men reconcile with the ruin they invited into their lives/homes.
you got blocked. they didn't do that by accident. if you think you could "work it out" there are so many other ways of doing that, especially through those "friends" of yours. not recognizing that and instead turning to complaining about it is why people are not sympathizing with you
The nuclear block should be paired with a feature where every month you can send a petition to one person asking to be unblocked. Like there’s one guy on here who has me blocked who I genuinely quite like, have no major disagreements with, and who talks to my friends a lot. It’s really inconvenient!
I'm sorry but if you are still arguing with a guy 7 replies down a chain when his first comment was something so hilariously stupid you should've just laughed and scrolled past it, this website deserves to get made fun of
hearing that the halo remake was a rush job when GTA 6's release date got pushed welcome back master chief collection
