Quite often what I draw for people is greatly determined by the reference art I'm given for what the characters look like and then filtered through my own drawing habits. It's really fun when someone shows me their reference images and it's just flat out pure cartoon designs. YAY!

Did a marker color render of a sketchbook picture drawn for @joey-poey.bsky.social a few years ago and put it up in this year's Anthrocon art show. Hope ya like it, -I'm awful happy with the way it turned out!

I just found out that supposedly Linktree is going to be feeding all the information and imagery that is posted to your account to the AI monster (bad) and potentially ALSO feeding the content of the pages you link to as well (worse). I'm seething at the forced participation in such schemes.

Drawn for Sabresage on FA featuring Zaviero the rat and Kalon the bear. It's a stylistic mashup between the ref art I was given and the sketch pose I was asked to implement and the results feels quite a bit different and entertaining than what I normally do following my usual habits. Very cool!

Are you ready for some more convention badges? I know I am! These are some of my favorite things to do at conventions because I can get a lot of interesting things done in a small space in a short amount of time.

I am utterly floored by how strong AC was for me this year. Y’all are *amazing* and I cannot say enough about how much I’ve enjoyed having conversations with everyone. Above all else though is the profound gratitude I have that so many of you have enjoyed the entertainment I’m able to offer.

I’ve just arrived in Pittsburgh for this year’s Anthrocon and am looking forward to drawing lots of fun stuff for everybody! Please come by my table at R01, -stay awhile, and listen! I’ll also have 31 pictures in the art show that would look excellent in your personal collection!

Originally drawn while visiting @donryu.bsky.social, I liked the picture enough that I decided earlier this year to do it up proper. This is a silly reinterpretation of my ToonFox mascot and my main character Gloria. One is a little naive, the other ...less so. Silly adventures are afoot!

I'm in a sharing kind of mood. One of the all time greats of comic strip humor for me. This absolutely helped define the kind of drawing and behavior I wanted to depict when I was a kid. There's plenty of other influences I could share, but I found myself repeating Opus' dialogue earlier today out of the blue and had to share!
