In honor of Canada v Morocco, here’s my grandfather and two of his brothers with their Chinese Canadian football team in 1929. The club organized a successful school strike to oppose racial segregation in the Victoria, BC schools.

Swedish Football Club from Brooklyn, New York, 1943-44. The team formed in 1924 and its clubhouse still exists today at 725 65th St. In addition to the A team, they had a B squad and a junior side. 🇸🇪
