Trans sisters, this is not hard to understand. This is the American electorate. 27 percent Republican 27 percent Democrat 43 percent Independent If trans public policy is moderate and based in medical science, we win. The goal is not to bargain with bigots, it’s to win over normal people.

The reason I am a Transmedicalist is because it won us our rights in the first place. That system allowed me to legally change my sex. If you’re going with all this progressive self ID stuff that door will be closed and it will hurt actual transsexuals.

I’m going to be more thoughtful about how I talk about non-binary people moving forward. They are not transsexual, but that doesn’t mean I don’t respect them.

1/ JK Rowling and the anti-trans movement are trying to rescind civil rights, many of which were settled law before I was even born. I spent $30,000 twenty years ago on vaginoplasty. This made me legally female in every state I’ve ever lived in and federally.

The last 24 hours really reminding me why I left the fringe left. There’s no sane faction in the discussion. Just two extremist political projects, both convinced eliminating their fellow citizens will make their lives better.
