Regulated my jacked up nervous system with this last night. Céleste Boursier-Mougenot’s Clinamen at Park Avenue Armory, extended through August 9th.

A Song & a Print Sunday / “Sintayehu” by Hailu Mergia & Dahlak Band. Worked with ink transfers and flowers, and— as has become tradition—when something doesn’t go as planned, the outcome or “fix” often becomes more exciting than the intention and teaches me a new method or trick.

A Song & a Print Sunday / “Feeding Tube” by Tummyache. Tried a collage transfer combination this time, and it mostly worked. 🙃

Just passed an old white man wearing a “Freelance Gynocologist” T-Shirt out on the avenue, so I guess Mercury’s still facing the wrong way.

Years ago I lived in Queens and I rode my bike into Brooklyn for work, passing by several cemeteries. Nothing felt more magical than when I would ride through two on either side of me. The temperature would drop significantly, and some evenings fireflies would float amongst the gravestones.
