This post got a lot of traction on Twitter, and it's driving me nuts because this IS what "trans activists" have been saying for years and years. It's impossible to have a discussion on this topic when people refuse to acknowledge what one side is actually arguing.

Durbin Enjoyer • @PKNCAAWBB X.com I just need one trans activist to come out and be transparent and say: - Nobody is saying that if Wemby decided to identify as female tomorrow he should be allowed to play in the W - Trans children should be allowed to participate in youth sports and other activities in some manner but there needs to be some nuance around whether it is right for male-to-female trans kids to be playing in female-only sports leagues, many times that will be inappropriate. - We understand what Sophie is saying but it is damaging to the trans community and XXXXX is why. Just retweeting and calling her a bigot and homophobe for an opinion that 90% of America holds to some extent is doing nothing productive.
