I'm a broken record about this, and say it most years, but do your research on judges seeking retention. Some of them have horrible records and the threshold for removing them is a lot of "No" votes. This is a place where your vote absolutely counts.

If USA Today is indeed unilaterally putting source interviews in some sort of database, in their entirety, allowing them to be cherry-picked by other reporters—and *AI*(!!)—that is journalistically indefensible and no one should ever talk to them again. Is this true? Is it Gannett wide?

Earlier this week, I agreed to interviews with two USA Today journalists. They wrote fantastic articles about the Cornell case that I'm proud to have been a part of. What I did not know is that their employer considers interviews to proprietary and opens up recordings to be used by any journalist.

I can't imagine we're going to see a better performance this year than Marian Bailey in Tender Loving Care. The movie is about what so many of Leigh's films are about--the desire and need to go on, as hope and joy war with despair. It hit me hard. I hope people watch his movies forever.
