Okay, I have muted mention of the most recent worldly avatar of Apollo or possibly Lenin. If you're a fucking antisemite, it does not MATTER to me that you want to expand health care, oppose data centers, get school meals extended to cover summer months, whatever.

okay, reading the SNAP benefits letter which I'd been putting off reading because 1) last week went nuts with interviews and applying for jobs, none of which have gotten me a job yet and 2) the last time I tried this had me on the edge of a panic attack.

Jesus he said fucking WHAT on Sunday, while I was trying to deal with family and maybe looking at an art festival. Does this damn Administration ever take a fucking break from being literally the worst people in the fucking world?

I am so triggered by RJK Jr's comment about ICU's being empty during #COVID. I re-read what I wrote after one of the surges. How do others forget. The trauma was--and is--real.

Sure do miss being the person who felt wishing death on an enemy was utterly vile. I’m still hoping the headcount of assholes I want to just go the fuck away forever, doesn’t hit two dozen.

Initially, I was pretty bummed that I couldn’t fit in jobhunting, grocery shopping, drawing AND a walk outside, but then I noticed that it’s Mesquite grilled air season again. My least favorite season, probably not healthy to walk in. Thanks Repubs!

“Look at this, it’s worthless. $5 from a vendor in the street. But I take it, I make it fairly important in nominally four religions, and it becomes priceless, like the Ark.”

“Possibly. A completely inappropriate relationship with your grad advisor’s daughter a decade back’s the least of your worries, Indy.” “What do you mean?” “I mean the Ark gets a menacing woodwind leitmotif just because we’re TALKING about it. And I’m underlit while telling you this.”

BRIGHT IS THE MOON HIGH IN STARLIGHT CHILL IN THE AIR COLD AS STEEL TONIGHT WE SHIFT CALL OF THE WILD FEAR IN YOUR EYES IT'S LATER THAN YOU REALIZE [chorus] SHIFT TO CRINOS! SHIFT TO CRINOS! SHIFT TO CRINOS!

Please don't dress in black When you're at his wake Don't go there to mourn But to celebrate I DON'T WANNA BE I DON'T WANNA BE ME I DON'T WANNA BE ME ANYMORE! *headbangs, throws up the horns*

My roommate hasn’t posted much about it, but her kitten Alexei has had some health issues from pretty early on. Things have been leveling out finally and quite a bit of money later. He seems to have had layered issues of coccidia (then a bacterial imbalance due to it) and possible feline coronavirus

occasionally I misread "Krull" as "Kull," and there WAS a 1987 Kull movie, which you'd think I'd remember because Jerry Goldsmith's *son* scored it. It looks like very typical 80s fantasy, but sadly I can't find a place to watch it for free.

Something in the morning light and diffuse clouds felt autumnal to me. If I can survive this fucking unemployment a little longer I get to see autumn. If I get a job, maybe I can really get to enjoy being around Seattle a little more.

it's time to play Caroline Rose's "Yip Yip Yow" again listening to this repeatedly is probably a more positive sign than listening to Against Me's "Two Coffins" repeatedly so

I hear her voice calling my name sound is deep in the dark I hear her voice and I start to run into the trees into the trees * eyes reflect creepy green from beyond the treeline* * blep *
