1/ It's not just that unilaterally paying TSA agents is illegal. It's that Trump has now repeatedly undermined the core of the congressional power of the purse. He's not spending money that has been appropriated by law (impoundments) and he's spending money that has not been appropriated.

I will never get over Trump, Hegseth, and the US military launching missiles into an Iranian city and subsequently bombing a school filled with little girls. It's too hurtful to even think about. It paints a perfect portrait of Trumpism- with us forever, correctly defining who this person truly was
This is disgusting, but also a tacit admission of just how horrible and indefensible it is.

I wrote about how the US and Israel carried out an attack on an Iranian girls school on par with the OKC bombing and US media relegated it to a back page story. No stand alone evening news segments, no front page stories, it made A11 in the NYT then everyone moved on.

This x 1000. There are effective ways to increase the impact and intensity of these hearings and Dem representatives have simply not been capable of executing on various fronts for a while. It regresses into an embarrassing display of unpreparedness. 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

My Los Angeles #Angels stayed relevant through mid-August, culminating in a season sweep of the rival Dodgers on 8/13.
