The problem is, these technologies are working as a collection of parts, not a system. At SF Climate Week, United's @btturner.bsky.social shared that California’s grid has the energy resources, but for real efficiency & cost savings, it requires a framework that ties everything together.
Many questions in the replies: doesn't this shorten the battery life too much? Actually... not anymore. Modern batteries degrade almost nothing from (dis)charging slowly at controlled (room) temperatures and V2G lowers the average SOC which improves battery lifetime.
Note the logo. TPUSA. Christian nationalist neanderthals. I absolutely 100% oppose this crap and will find no common ground with those who espouse such.
