Waking up to Sharia Law in NYC is crazy. Knicks won, crime is down, 2,000 toddlers are going to school for free, parents got “date night” with nyc babysitters, they’re building housing on city land, small businesses are saving money and selling ice cream. Its sunny out i should go get one.

Notice DOJ doesn't talk about its efforts to obtain state voter files anymore. They are 0-20 in those cases and today is the beginning of the quiet period -- states can no longer do systematic removals of names from the voter rolls. TLDR: We won!🥳

FYI: Blanche rescinded the ORDER establishing the slush fund, not the underlying “settlement.” The settlement says any changes must be agreed to by ALL parties, not just Todd. This “rescission” isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.

Making matters worse, the guy was a total rookie. ICE hired him in 2026. He's a veteran who had been bouncing around a series of jobs for short periods of time, often just 1-2 years. In 2025 he was fired from a job as a volunteer firefighter for getting into shouting fights with leadership.

ABC News and The Atlantic reported on Tuesday that the agent was hired by ICE earlier this year and that he had worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Brouillette was working for the VA at Togus as a police officer in 2021, according to court records from a legal dispute with an ex-wife. Brouillette is a U.S. Army veteran and had been receiving disability benefits through the VA, according to the same records. He told a judge he was working as a truck driver before January 2025 when he said he had to resign due to health concerns. Some of his positions have been brief. According to Maine public employment records, he worked for the Maine Correctional Center in Windham from 2015 and resigned a year later. He worked for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services from 2019 to 2020 — it’s unclear in what role. In 2024 and 2025, he was a volunteer firefighter in Manchester. He worked there for two short stints across only a matter of months before he was “removed” after several spats with department leadership, according to former and current staff. His tenure included a shouting match, staff said, and refusal to follow superiors’ orders.

WOW. The ex-wife of the ICE officer who shot a 26-year-old Colombian man in Maine has come forward to say that he had mental health issues and was abusive in their relationship. She says after the shooting he called asking her to vouch for him — instead, she went to the press.

Ashley Brouillette told the Portland Press Herald in a phone interview Thursday afternoon that her ex-husband called admitting to the shooting and defending his actions. The Press Herald reviewed a screenshot of incoming calls Ashley Brouillette received from her ex-husband’s current wife’s Facebook account on Wednesday. “He was asking me to lie for him and to cover for his character,” Ashley Brouillette said. “I told him that I was not going to lie for him. And then he tried to say that it was a justified shooting because the guy tried to hit him with his car.” She said she has seen videos of Brouillette on the scene of the shooting and confirmed that was him on scene, telling him: “nowhere in there does it show that this man charged at you with a car.” “In his head it’s justified. He’s unusually calm about it,” she said.Ashley Brouillette told a reporter that she wanted to speak publicly because she had previously reported concerns to his superiors in the military about his mental health. She said he was abusive in their relationship. She said that she’s been inundated with calls, since reports of Brouillette’s involvement began circulating online, threatening her and her family.

The federal immigration agent who shot and killed a 26-year-old Colombian man in Biddeford has been identified as David Michael Brouillette. Brouillette, who is 37 and lives in Manchester, was identified by an ex-wife as the ICE agent who shot Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero.

The Parties used the existence of federal litigation as a means of conferring legitimacy upon a course of action that they were unwilling to subject to judicial review. The context of the "settlement," the relationships of the people involved in negotiating and approving it, the ethical implications of their conduct, and the Parties' swift efforts to dismiss this case after the Court raised fundamental jurisdictional questions all support this conclusion. Accordingly, the Court expressly finds that Plaintiffs acted in bad faith. See Sofaly v. Portfolio Recovery Assocs., LLC, 155 F.4th 289, 295 (3d Cir. 2025) (monetary sanctions were proper under the court's inherent power where the lawyers acted in bad faith and committed fraud on the court by using "their clients to bring contrived lawsuits"). That finding is enough to invoke the Court's inherent authority. See JTR Enter., LLC V. Columbian Emeralds, 697 F. App'x 976, 986 (11th Cir. 2017) ("The key to invoking a court's inherent power to sanction is a finding of bad faith.") (citation omitted).

Today ICE fatally shot a 26-year-old Colombian man in Biddeford, Maine. This is the 11th person they’ve murdered this year—that we know of. He did everything he was supposed to. He was authorized to work in the US. He served his community. ICE still murdered him in broad daylight. Abolish ICE.
