The winning party took 65% of the seats with just 43% of the vote. Meanwhile, the third-place party won over 500,000 more votes than the second-place party. First-past-the-post is broken. It’s time for proportional representation. #onpoli

The Progressive Conservative (PC) party secured 80 seats with 43.0% of the vote (2,158,452 votes). The New Democratic Party (NDP) won 27 seats with 18.5% of the vote (931,796 votes). The Liberal (LIB) party won 14 seats with 30.0% of the vote (1,504,688 votes). The Green Party (GRN) secured 2 seats with 4.8% of the vote (242,822 votes). Other (OTH) received 3.7% of the vote (185,829 votes) and won 1 seat.

One of these days we're gonna have to reckon with the fact that "money that I spend which does not directly benefit me is a waste" is a popular sentiment. I think we should state plainly that this is selfish on its face. And stupid when you have awareness which extends beyond your nose.

I hope the entire Super Bowl is artificial intelligence ads. It's going to feel like the world is ending. Entire commercial breaks of commercials for companies promising to do both everything and nothing all at once. The disassociation bowl
