Since Sony still owns the rights to the character no, the MCU will never have a solo Spidey movie. Heck, Sony demanded an MCU character, a Disney+ character and an X-Men character all be in this movie, otherwise it would have been a Symbiote-fest of awfulness.
The MCU Will Never Let Spider-Man Shine on His Own
In FY26 we *hand wrote* and *hand checked* 82,606 paratransit rides. That averages ~6900 a month, all done by five people.
A real fun fact - the Morton Salt Girl has an umbrella because it was formulated to not clump during high humidity
Bet you didn't know that the Little Morton Salt Girl is an immortal being who existed before there was life on Earth.
in which we journey back to 1986 for an early pioneer in the field of CGI art on the comics page, an experiment from the first tranche of releases by the fledging NOW Comics
Today Tegan looks at Vector #1, from 1986 and NOW Comics, by Jim McGreal and Rich Mrozek!
Trying to take someone else, Nick's account popped up for a second. It was a real gut punch because my first thought was "Hey I wonder how he's doing?" I miss that pug.
@notthattomgreen.bsky.social ...is Mike Awesome related to Bill Alfonso?!
The lesson of Discontinued Foods is to never partner with Baskin Robbins to promote your movie
Baskin-Robbins Can’t Stop The Nuts (1980-1980): Coconut-almond ice cream, loaded with chocolate-covered almonds and candy-coated almonds, along with a milk chocolate ripple. Released to promote the Village People/Steve Guttenberg film, "Can't Stop the Music"
Weirdly specific Halloween II Monster High doll. Her heels are the VHS tape and its sleeve!
That Samsung Spider-man commercial is so funny. Be like Spider-man, 3D print a bootleg Samsung foldy phone for free.
According to my bank, my three year old car is now worth $10k more than I paid for it
Gel pens are a wonderful invention, but sometimes I get nostalgic for the texture created by drawing with an old school ballpoint pen.
Have you ever noticed how stuff like the WNBA bowing to an anti-trans organization starts out as "Hey, tell them it's not ok to allow this" and ends up as years and years of people dunking on the bad actor while it grows more and more powerful due to increased awareness? Isn't that tiring to y'all?
Why would you put Baron Corbin over a much more popular wrestler? You've already fired the guy twice! This is like restaurants that keep opening in the same spot five other restaurants failed
This was my misremembering, not @doctorwolfula.bsky.social getting it wrong, my apologies
Different actor - this guy only played him in Addams Family Reunion not the two big ones Most importantly he was William Van Landingham. The 3rd.
Fun fact: the "m'lady" guy was Pugsley in the two 1990s Addams Family movies
"beautiful people don't light their own cigarettes" i say, pulling this out of my pocket
I love that Danhausen, but they're doing exactly what I feared they do when the cloning machine misfired at Backlash - turning him into Doink. The Minihausens are becoming the driving force because wrestling bookers think little people wrestlers are the height of comedy.
Didn't see myself tearing up at Chelsea Green winning the title 🤼
I'd tell everyone to rediscover "Making History" with Adam Palley and Leighton Meister, but it appears to only be available on Canadian Disney+
Gonna add Brie Bella to this list. It can't be coincidence at this point.
Hey @davidbix.bsky.social, is there any official comment on six of WWE's top stars sustaining shoulder injuries on seemingly minor bumps over the course of a single year? Should more people be talking about it?
never thought short form video would be able to capture a type of humor i can only describe as “the far side-esque” but this comes close.
I don't get why it's so hard for these people to give up Harry Potter. There's a couple of comics writers that wrote large swaths of my favorite series growing up that I will no longer read because of allegations/convictions. They're not even waging war against me! It's just that simple.
Tom Holland admitted to sharing his streaming passwords "a lot" If a multimillionaire movie star can't afford this stuff, why are we supposed to be buying new logins for every different person in our households?
I gotta say, Nick Aldis performed so well that Cole and Wade calling the match like he'd never been in the ring seemed really out of place 🤼
I'm going to firmly state that Event Horizon is a sequel to The Black Hole and that Dr. Reinhardt is the voice on the distress signal
This week's SNW has gotten me to finally watch Event Horizon.
Are they my roommate if I own the place? Renter? Housemate? Boarder?
