Democrats endorsing the Democratic nominee as soon as they're nominated is good and more Democrats should do it more often. (Not that my "endorsement" matters, but AES absolutely has it and we should do everything we can to ensure he keeps Michigan's Senate seat in D hands this November).

A major defeat for conservatives in Kansas, who were hoping to make inroads on the state supreme court by switching the state to regular elections. Their measure was defeated 61/39. (I'll have more to say on what this means for the court going forward soon.)

When generals start emailing the ranks…begging for “creative and unconventional” ideas, you’ve moved past confidence …and into desperation. That’s not the sound of a winning strategy. It’s the sound of leaders…searching for an exit.

No matter the margin the story is that Haley Stevens got $70M of support, more than $30M of it from a single organization, and still lost.
