Getting this done just under the wire, #SharkWeekSketchJam Day 8 - Choose your own shark! Thresher sharks are one of my absolute favorites because they use their tails to hunt via cavitation. And if I'm drawing a thresher shark, it's going to be @rillarequiem.bsky.social!

Day 6 of #SharkWeekSketchJam! Tiger shark does not approve of you questioning her dietary decision to eat license plates. Was a little lazy today and went more classic furry-shark shapes.
Aaaand #SharkWeekSketchJam Day 5 - Gummy Shark! The Mustelus antarcticus variety, not the candy variety, I think. Thanks to @yop-dog.bsky.social for the idea of a shark margaritia (a shargarita if you will) that has candy gummy sharks, and the pun writes itself.
Time for Day 4 of #SharkWeekSketchJam! Today: Zebra shark! Starting to feel like I'm getting back in the rhythm of drawing.
Day 3 - Ghost Shark #SharkWeekSketchJam Ended up more friendly than my original plan, but I couldn't find a good front on ghost shark reference, so backup plan and digital glow shenanigans. I do love how ghost shark faces look, with the sensory organ lines mimicking bone lines. And, now I have ideas
when looking up references for day 3 of #sharkweeksketchjam, I ran into pics of the long nosed chimera, which is a species of Ghost shark, and my brain went from zero to "Zero...oh no, Nightmare Before Christmas...THIS IS HALOWEEN!!!" and now it won't stop.

I think I've finally gotten caught up on sleep from AC! Just in time for #fursuitfriday too! I had such an amazing weekend, seeing friends, meeting up with the one-fish family, and hanging out with my cute shark girlfriend @bzx34.bsky.social! yes it was 12 million degrees out, but I had a blast!
Sappy post-con post time! #Anthrocon was such an awesome weekend! Definitely have a bit of PCD, but I got to have so many amazing times with friends, especially my cute sass-cat girlfriend Mirage @yop-dog.bsky.social! Thank you all for making this such a fantastic convention! See you next year?

2025 has been a year with a lot of ups and downs for me (going to try to avoid discussing the larger state of the world, but it certainly has played a substantial role in a lot of things).

Turns out, I did actually catch the aurora borealis on the first day. Didn't realize it because I couldn't tell if I was seeing aurora or clouds.
Tried to get a picture of the aurora borealis tonight, but results are uncertain. Still need to clean up the photos, but at least I've managed to figure out a little more of night photography. Too bad the CME from the X5.1 flare earlier will likely hit during daylight hours (for me).
This suit was finished August 2024. It's been to 3-4 conventions. I'm still pulling pins out of the body today. This is both impressive and concerning, and I'm fairly certain that there are still a few pins I have yet to find.
