😂 yes, some classic photos in here too! An update would show a much more diverse cohort I’m sure!
Who’s Who in Cypriote Archaeology - how have I never come across this before? Published in 1971. About half the entries are men, just under 20% women, and the rest unclear (possibly women using their initials for strategic reasons - but probably skewing male). Time for an updated version!
Great doctoral student funding opportunity here that includes those who research on Cyprus. 🏺

We await you @cypriotartleeds.bsky.social ! Looking forward to catching up & hearing about your latest exciting research.
Not quite ready for the English autumn so I’m escaping to @caari-cyprus.bsky.social for a week, for museums, bookshops, archives, a lecture, galleries, and hopefully lots of writing.
It has been great having you here @circa-candace.bsky.social & Kalo taxidi for your journey home!
5 weeks in Cyprus @caari-cyprus.bsky.social = serious library time plus fun museum and heritage excursions. The Ledra city is super cute, displaying the finds from the excavations on site. A figurine factory means lots of wasters. Favourite find has to be the terracotta bath tub.
A beautiful tribute to a wonderful person. We will miss Ruth Keshishian so much.
She ran unofficial culture ministry but had a phobia of publicity
