Thinking about a motif of making your creation intentionally flawed for it to better serve its purpose - in context of Zandar, Lygus and Irontomb... ._. The conclusion of his arc in 3.7 that fandom hates to acknowledge is that Lygus is, in a way, also a victim in the Amphoreus story.
