It feels insane how easily people fold over privacy. AI surveillance, face scanning, ID for social media. "What's the problem if you obey the law?" Except then laws change, and suddenly it's, idk, illegal to exist as a trans person, and all that data that used to innocuous is incriminating evidence
People imagine picking up and finding *something better* is an easy solution. But how is that supposed to work, when all your time and energy goes to staying alive? You have almost nothing to set aside to actually fight your way out.
Yeah, I'd gladly accept UBI or some form of a social safety net not reliant on money. Strange thing is, billionaires and corporations keep lobbying for the exact opposite of that! Including Musk! So weird!

Musk said people might still work in the future but compared it to people who grow their own backyard tomatoes. He said they could just go to the store for better tomatoes.
I didn't even notice when I passed 1k followers here 😭 I used to have more on twitter, but from what I noticed, lower numbers on bs still mean more genuine impact than there and I'm very grateful for that! It feels like it used to on internet years ago and not an algorithm driven ragebait hellscape

Slashing aid is straight up eugenics. It's saying people who are unable or unwilling to work deserve death. They cloak it in "well if you're not contributing to society then you don't deserve handouts" but what happens when you get no food and shelter? You die, for the crime of not making money.

I feel terrible for the workers, especially since gamedev is absolute shit rn (I'm not coming back unless I absolutely have to). They deserve a safe and rewarding job. Unfortunately Zaum is not that place and it will fall sooner or later, since they poisoned the brand for majority of fans

Wanted something to celebrate the Stonewall riots and pride month. It felt most appropriate to support the trans friends, since they are currently first in line to be othered, repressed and erased, even within the LGBTQ community.
