I looked around the league at various ways that teams are spacing non-shooting bigs out to the corners. Most require timing, misdirection, & HIGH-LEVEL SHOOTING. On the difficulty of moving on from Aaron Nesmith's ability to get a move on (free to read): www.patreon.com/basketballsh...

The NBA just posted its highest TOV% of any playoffs in the tracking era. Given the emphasis on possession maxxing, curious to see in what ways teams continue to search for small, sustainable tweaks to crank up their steal creation.

In non-LeBron news, I recorded an entire mailbag with full film breakdowns on a multitude of Pacers-related topics. Oh, and then after realizing I had recorded the whole thing without audio, I recorded the whole thing again. If that interests you, you should probably read/watch.

New Mailbag, recapping the offseason for the Pacers - Tyrese working on his mid-range game post-injury - Defending the PnP with Zubac - Smith as the next TJM? - Oubre's impact on the depth chart - Benefits of Nembhard/Siakam expanded roles Full video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVUB...

I’ve become so cynical that now every time I see someone on here claiming they know a guy who knows a guy who knows where LeBron is going in free agency, rather than engagement farming, I just assume it’s a plant to impact the prediction markets

The Pacers didn't have any lottery picks playing, and they had a coaching change in the middle of camp, but I still found this Summer League to be fairly (under)whelming. Before the conclusion, on what conclusions can be drawn about this roster: www.patreon.com/basketballsh...

Glad the Pacers have Zubac, but if that GTJ deal is what it looks like, him taking a below-market contract helped MIL sign Turner(albeit to a contract that hasn’t aged well), leading the Pacers to overpay (via trade) for Zubac with another team that is also being investigated for shenanigans.

This is why you read Basketball, She Wrote. On whether the Pacers should take a chance on the chances Jalen Slawson takes, and why I think he's shown enough two-way flashes to earn another two-way contract -- somewhere. www.patreon.com/basketballsh...

Noticed Boston trying to play the drop-and-rotate scheme against the PnP. Not executed well, but Toronto countered with pop-and-burn action w/ Graves (i.e. using a 45 cut to punish the stunt/help). Added detail: Lifted the corner player into the vacated space behind the cut. Nifty.
