Everything Trump does is about transferring wealth, and he is still doing it. This is what most western governments have become, just not quite as blatantly illegally as Trump does it.

I want details. The feds "affordable housing" label is based on the CMHC definition which is "30% of the area's median income". Meaning affordable in high income areas is not affordable for many. Also which developers are getting all this money? Forgive me for being skeptical of his plans now.

This one will be controversial for many, but cars are exponentially better. They're safer, primarily for occupants, but also for pedestrians. A modern grocery getter is faster than an 80s super car (again controversial whether that is better). They are far more fuel efficient too.

I'd like to point out that what is happening in the States should be a lesson for Canadians. Real progressives can win, you just have to actually vote for them. Are we really going to wait for our version of Trump to win before we do? Isn't our current right wing government bad enough?
This is cute, but all you have to do is look at the state of the world to know a Dog isn't in charge.

Using AI to create "art" screams loser. Signing that AI "art" takes loser to a whole new level.
This is the thing about real art. It's timeless. It's not replaced with modern technology, it doesn't "age poorly." It's great because of what it is.
This is art, and so much more impressive than AI slop.

Explain to me like I am 5 why we are subsidizing anything for these companies. I mean by the very nature of their business they can't pull up stakes and leave so that bullshit excuse is out.

High bills fuelling poverty and misery for households and businesses. Boon for execs and shareholders. Must levy 100% windfall tax on oil, gas, energy companies.
I mean investment is coming to Canada because we are selling off our infrastructure and natural resources, but sure.

Road design is the only way to control speed. Speed cameras and speed traps are a stop gap not a solution, and designed to increase fines, not slow cars. Signs are useless.

All Ken had to do was delete that post and say: "Well fuck, that was really thoughtless and in bad taste. I apologize to those I hurt and promise to do better in the future." I am a middle aged CIS white male. I have said stupid hurtful things. When confronted I think it through and apologize.
