I was deciding whether or not I wanted to give a daily word count accountability thread another go for 2026 after I. fell off of the 2025 thread and guess what. When I added up the totals of the update thread I wrote 21,496 words that I wouldn’t have written otherwise. We’re gonna try this again
the bad news is: I got dumped the good news is: now I can refocus my energy on actually writing rather than pouring it into someone who doesn’t want to be in a relationship!! silver linings etc etc etc
