Just realized the convention in Austin takes place on C’s birthday. October 4th. Not that I ever thought she would be attending, but this confirms it for me. 😂
So I meant to watch the finale again (I’ve only seen it twice), but ended up pressing play on 8x01 instead. Two things— Time apparently has no meaning. The premiere in NYC was over 3 months ago. How is that possible? And Caitríona is so GOOD in this opening scene, without saying a word. My god.

Logged back into AO3 for the first time in ages and read my own fic & it’s literally so good. 😂 I’m so mad for being my worst critic & convincing myself this was awful. Like, I can’t believe there was a time this came from my own brain. This could never happen now. My attention span has flown. ✈️😂

As much as I loved the finale (and I did, I genuinely did love it), I did not want an ambiguous ending. 😩 To end a longstanding series like OL with a “choose your own adventure” ending was not my ideal choice. My brain needs to know. 😩
