Ugh… my youngest just told me he’s moving out and I’m not ready. Not ready to empty nest. Not ready to not have my favourite 18 y/o around every day. I know it’s part of being a parent and your kids growing up but holy hell am I sad right now. I’m gonna miss having him here 🥺

The Hellblade games, both Senua’s Sacrifice and Saga, are masterclasses in sound design. I clearly remember my first playthrough of Sacrifice in 2017. Strapping on headphones, no idea what I was in for. My skin quite literally CRAWLED hearing her voices. Seriously… play it if you haven’t.

My evening plans include a few beers, working on a jigsaw puzzle (super neat one that you change after completing it!), and playing with my dogs. No company. Just me. Friday night. Is this loser behavior? Is it bad that I refuse to leave my house after 9 PM? AM I OLD!?

I hesitate to call them underrated, because those who like them like them a lot, but Silverchair really were an amazing band. Many jumped off the bandwagon after Neon Ballroom, but Diorama and Young Modern are GREAT records. Anyway, yeah... Silverchair was rad. More people should love them.
