FINALLY updated my avatar! It's been years since I made myself a new avatar, have the new Cam design!
I keep seeing everyone doing 9 movies and 9 games and stuff, so in no particular order, and missing quite a few influential movies from my life because I struggled to decide on only 9, here are some movies that I feel have defined my taste in cinema and actively influenced me.
How is there still this myth of the "lazy" artist? Every artist I know who actually makes any money on their art at all works 50+ hour weeks and usually still has a part or full-time job to make ends meet. The laziest, most useless workers I've ever met have always been CEOs and landlords.

This is one of my favourite book covers of all time! Something about the use of negative space with the big hangar door, the patterns all drawing your eye toward the character, the pose, the lighting, the detail! It's not an austentatious work, but it captures the novel's vibe perfectly!

God, whatever illness I have right now is just going through every phase. Started 5 days ago with a sore throat, then hedache, then sneezing and clogged sinus, then body ache and fever... now we are on to coughing up gross looking flem and feeling woozy, and tonight it's getting chesty...
