It's really fun when nouveau driver bugs happen in Ubuntu LTS initialization and it keeps running, even though I can't see anything because it doesn't detect the monitor. Just click and type in the dark.
I'm using Neovim for quite a time, but I can't wait for Helix have better support to OCaml and Plugins (with Scheme) to test it as main Text Editor/IDE. - Rust core seems interesting. - Scheme R7 as extension language is VERY interesting. - The keybindings looks rational. - ... Promising.

Photography used to be about "this happened." AI totally messes that up. Now a picture can look super real without actually being real. The future of photography in general won't be about how realistic it is, but about whether you can trust it and this will change a lot how we see them.
The best social media model is not pure centralization or absolute decentralization. Centralization creates lock-in. Absolute decentralization makes abuse governance too weak. BSKY is promising because it takes the middle way: open protocol, portable identity, open-source, and working moderation.

This isn't a clean room in the strict sense. If the first AI reads the source code, that would traditionally be considered legal "contamination." However, since there's no legal framework yet for whether an LLM's training data counts as exposure, this is a gray area at best.
