Talking with a Holocaust survivor starting his memoirs just over a decade ago was some of the most humbled I've ever felt. I hope he did write them. I wonder if he's still with us. If he is, I can only imagine what he must be thinking now that too many of us didn't fucking learn a goddamn thing.
