Happy May Day. Here's a short film we made in 2002 in preparation for making the album Nuada, before someone walked off with the original Wicker Man's legs. youtu.be/zm-H6lBtqRQ?...

I've been meaning for ages to do a long thread talking about the stuff I've enjoyed over the last year or two. It's not necessarily new stuff, though some is. I'll start with what I'm listening to right now, which is @candidatemusic.bsky.social's Point Clear. candidateband.bandcamp.com 🧵

A Candidate gig with the lovely @singingadams.bsky.social in the new year at the Green Note x
Steven Adams@singingadams.bsky.social · 2y agoThis is true. I’m playing a show with my dear old pals @candidatemusic.bsky.social and I’m not sure I’ve ever played a show at the Green Note, but I like it very much. My favourite show I’ve seen there was lush old Mike Heron from the Incredible String Band. Anyway, come all ye and let us rejoice
Post you from a different era.

Twenty-one years ago, yesterday, recording bits for the album ‘Under The Skylon’ in East End bedrooms (as usual). I don’t think Alex M had any curtains at that point. Must be the brightest recording session ever. This is recording Mountain Snow and Fatal Dose, we would guess.
