The worst thing about FRLG on the Switch being isolated from the wider gen 3 ecosystem right now is that several trainers on Resort Gorgeous use Pokemon that are only found in Emerald/Colo/XD, but Selphy will still ask to see them once they're registered as "Seen" into your Pokedex.

Locking in my final ability predictions in case we get Mega Golisopod in the next Champions update: Prediction 1: Water Bubble/reflavoured equivalent. Reducing its fire weakness would probably be way too OP but with how dominant Mega Charizard Y has been, Golisopod needs all the help it can get.

Just found my 8th (actually 11th) shiny for my badge quest and it's a 5% encounter... no spoilers for what it is yet but man this is such a cool way to end it

Don't get me wrong, art depicting mundane Slice-Of-Life scenarios within the Pokemon world is cool - but it's 1,000% better and way more interesting when the featured Pokemon are unconventional freaks (affectionate) instead of just the marketable domestic-type ones

Currently working on part 3 of my Fire Red badge quest now that Safari Week is out of the way, I gotta say the edit is getting kinda weird though.

Just got my copy of Pokecology and this is such a cool book, the art is awesome and it's really cool to see them depicting interactions/behaviours that have been described in the pokedex that we don't get to see in-game. They even have the Lurantis flower camouflage from the original concept art.

Hunted the Basculin outbreaks so I could have a cool Basculegion to use in Champions - I was using the technique to spawn Misty Mark ones but my first marked shiny ended up being both Rampaging and Great, my first ever marked jumbo shiny

First documented time hitting double-odds in an 8192 hunt. I'm confident I must have hit this at least once during my White badge quest with how long some of those droughts were, but I wasn't counting those encounters. This also beats Impidimp from earlier this year as my new longest phase.

Currently writing the script/visual graphics for a theory/essay video and I've found myself debating the technical definition of something relatively minor that I could do with hearing some opinions on: Would you consider the Diamond and Pearl clans to be "indigenous" to Hisui?
