Watching the Fauci hearing and feeling my blood heating up as people that lied repeatedly for Trump for the 2020 election and lied about the COVID-19 virus question Fauci.

That moment when you're sweating your bank balances and notice the plumber whose contact you canceled didn't refund the $1,500 deposit for work not performed.

Accidently watched a first amendment "auditor" facebook page and now the algo is flooding me with them. After seeing videos of real victims being beaten by cops I'm amazed by these people acting in ways towards cops that I can only describe as "begging to be arrested".

It's interesting to look up McConnell's life and see that he was there when Dr. King gave his "I have a dream" speech. Real living history. Then you read about his zero sum politics and how he denounced Trump and refused to take any personal responsibility for doing anything about it.

Me: I need a guy to install a water heater. Plumber 1: I can do it for 12K. Me: 🤮 Plumber 2: I can do it for 2.2K. Me: Excellent! [checks city website] Will you be pulling the permit and setting up the code compliance inspection? Plumber 2: I can't since I'm not a licensed plumber. Me: ☹️

Grandmother: I bought the boys the Dark Saber from the Mandalorian. 7YO: I bought DARK VADER'S LIGHT SABER! RAAA Me: eh...toy swords...great. [looks at the store shelf, falls into the eddies to time, grips the handle and holds it forth] BY THE POWER OF GREY SKULL... I HAVE...THE POWER!!!

Son got sick, so I got to stay home taking care of him. Naturally, I spent that time cleaning the house and not playing the new Satisfactory 1.2 update and feeling the heady rush of optimizing performance.

To set aside all of today's Trump stuff, I went to see He-Man and I thought it was pretty good! -Fight scenes felt like picking up two action figures and beating them together. -Some of the musical scores were transportative. -Jared Leto stole the scenes. His Skeletor was just great. -REFERENCES.

Venture capitalist buys coffee shop. Spends gobs of money rebranding it. Fires the core staff with the loyal customers. Rehires the core staff with the loyal customers. Staff's paychecks start bouncing. [Pending] Coffee shop goes out of business. Damn you VCs!

-Hitting the gym every evening till I'm exhausted. -Dicking around when I get home till I'm getting just less than six hours of sleep. A sure way to do your best at work.

I doubt it made a material difference, but I am quite happy that I campaigned against Chip Roy last summer. Come January, he leaves the public dole for political obscurity.

Saw Mandalorian and Grogu and...yeah. It's an extralong Mandalorian episode. It's ok. The writing and dialog aren't stupid. Truly, the best of the movie is when you realize every character on screen is a puppet and not a CGI creature. And it's adorable.

Me: Laptop has limited memory. Need to finish my game so I can uninstall it and install Subnautica 2. Also Me: Just going to start up Crusader Kings III and rule all of Sardinia until the game crashes.

Tossed on Don't Look Up...for no particular reason, and it starts pretty strong with the "Oh COOL we found an interstellar object" to "oh shit it's going to hit us and we're all going to die"

When Artemis II flies behind the moon, it's going to be an Oceans' 11 situation where they have to perform histories greatest heist in only 40 minutes before contact resumes.

Spending my Saturday cleaning the house, catching up on work, and waiting to see if I managed to land @radiofreetom.bsky.social easter lamb recipe. Lots of garlic POWDER, garlic salt, oregano, and Pam olive oil spray. If it works out, I'll share it with my folks for lunch tomorrow.

My 4YO saw a Nintendo newsletter on the Switch home screen that had a drawing of a bright green alligator terrorizing a city for some sort of promotion and refuses to believe there isn't an alligator game, and I'm the bad guy for not letting him play it.
