He was talking about Paxton concealing evidence of the torture, abuse, and, killing of...puppies. My God Sir he covered up puppies being tortured and killed. "He never misses an opportunity to do the wrong thing."
Yeah, if I couldn't live in MA/RI/CT, I'd live near DC or near Vegas (maybe). I liked suburban VA, but the map won't let me cut NOVA off from the rest of the state.

People asking me "I get it that you're old and cranky and wouldn't ever live anywhere but Southern New England, but ...why Nevada?" Does no one pay attention

I said he would win, and that HRC would never be president. I laid down money on it with a friend in 2007 who was sure she would win and he couldn't. Too many of you overindexing on Obama as some sort of indication that America is now willing to elect any minority when it won't even elect a woman.

Rooster@sillythecat.bsky.social · 24h agoThe "smoke filled room" theory is essentially what got Janet Mills to run. And we see how that turned out. Sometimes the quality of the available candidates is just not good and smoke or no smoke won't change that.

Before you get too excited about America's tolerance because it elected a unique political talent who was Black, remember that half the country is female and we can't elect a female president and probably won't for a while.
