It is extremely funny to me that the argument for debunking the Patterson-Gimlin Film in 2026 is based entirely around the veracity of blurry footage and testimony, when for 50 years, that exact same type of evidence has been "insufficient proof."

Wildwood was really good, but unfortunately, every couple minutes some jaw-droppingly gorgeous bit of impossible animation would pull me out of the story from sheer wonder.

if you ever happen to see someone post a joke you don't understand or discuss a subject you aren't familiar with, you are well within your right to complain, and perhaps even scold them if necessary. you are their customer and you have rights

sometimes you play a game that you know isn't very good but every time you remember it you think fondly of it anyways. like. you, i liked you. you tried your best, and you messed up sometimes, but damn, you were something special. i admire you even now. thank you for existing.

a cartoon directed by ben "bugs" hardaway had a model sheet with a rabbit labeled [bug's bunny], and this eventually became the name "bugs bunny" so what i am saying is that technically "bugs bunny" is a term like "frankenstein's monster"

a model sheet with the early version of bugs bunny who sounds like woody woodpecker and looks weird and it's labelled [MODEL SHEET M.M. 22. "Bug's Bunny"

You'd be astonished and appalled by the number of people who think The Monster Mash rhymes "lid" with "said," rather than "fist" with "twist." Just completely losing the meter for a whole verse.

The autocorrect in my phone can't even correctly identify which form of "its" I want to use, and you expect me to let a computer code anything by itself?

While I do think the distinction is important, "USian" would be a lousy word even if it weren't cringe. The mouthfeel sucks, and the country isn't "United Statesia." It should probably be "USer," although that has its own issues if you don't use the correct letter case. We can do better.

It's honestly kind of impressive to write a post-apocalyptic sword-lesbian biker time-traveler with the power to contol all the monsters in the world AND a henshin, and somehow make her boring, but I've often said Daisuke Ishiwatari can "do anything."

I generally don't think it's possible for literally any Sanji chapter to be good without fundamentally altering his character, but this week's would've been a great place to have him stop smoking.

my fiance and i are watching LotGH (her first time, my 3rd rewatch) and this shit is hitting a lot harder then it did back when i watched it in 2009 and 2018
