My heart is so full! The “Charting Substellar Worlds” conference was a great success. Amazing science talks and community building. Conference organizing was so stressful, but so worth it in the end. Along with talks and we had s’mores, karaoke, and even some folks surfing 🏄🏾‍♂️.

It's paper day! *with a typo in the title* arxiv.org/abs/2607.09851 In this work, we conducted a small spectroscopy survey of 32 FGK stars that all host brown dwarf companions. This host star sample includes 14 brown dwarf companions that have already obtained or incoming JWST data.

#Exo6 check out my poster on stellar abundances of FGK hosts of wide orbit brown dwarf companions. We use high resolution (R ≈ 130,000) spectra from PEPSI to characterize 32 stars to report C/O, [Fe/H], and Mg/Si and MORE to predict cloud species in the BD companions. Poster #34. Topic 4! 🤓
