I am unsure if I want sentient alien life to be as stupid as us or not? On one hand it won’t be quite so embarrassing to our species if the whole universe is full of idiots, and this is just the norm. On the other hand, I don’t want the whole universe to full of idiots. How tragic would that be!
The implication being that ‘the thing’ is projecting a field around the ship, altering the perception and experiences of those around it, and it’s not just when you board it. Have fun with that Division 12. #StrangeNewWorlds

Notice how pristine the ship looks (after 8 years in a debris field) when it is first discovered by the shuttle crew ⬆️ and how it actually looks at the end of the episode ⬇️ (I pixelated Sam Kirk).
Have any actors had a better two and a half weeks than Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal making over 1.8 billion at the box office?

One of the best things about ‘The Griffen Incident’ on #StrangeNewWorlds is they didn’t explain the cause. Usually Trek gives us a scientific reason. To give us no explanation was new and bold. It does run the risk of leaving the episode feeling incomplete, but explanations kill the mystery. 1/2
…and it was brilliant. It might be my favourite Spider-Man film yet. It had so much heart, and the action was top notch. Perfect Spidey. Watch it and be careful of spoilers.

Fuck you. Disney make insane amounts of money. Even if this one underperformed you can take the hit to finish off the story to show you care about your fans and your own IP. And considering how great the word of mouth was, something radical might happen and viewing figures might actually go up.
