I have a novel idea, hear me out. We could ban all trade with these illegal settlements. Both goods and services. We could call it an Occupied Territories Bill or something like that.

Israeli settlement proposal demands ‘robust’ response, says Helen McEntee
Minister’s remarks come after publication of tender to build 1,200 housing units in Palestine

Ellen Coyne: “I don’t want to make this into a culture war thing”… **ellen coyne proceeds to make it into a culture thing and gets to blame feminists too** a credit to the paper of record

another one: same type of 'scrote' post, replies about them getting away with wanton violence because they play GAA. in my experience anyway most of the really anti social youths never went near a GAA dressing room after the age of about 12. in fact, I think doing so mightve helped a lot!

most hated r/ireland refrain: post about 'scrotes', somebody says something about 'little angles', another poster (knowingly or not?) says something about them being acute or similar. same riff on every single one of these posts! get a new joke!

I'd like to compare how Irish commentators wrote about Jason Arday with how they wrote about Brian Lucey, the Irish academic who had several papers retracted earlier this year because he had been corruptly peer reviewing his own work, but literally no Irish commentators wrote about it

went to see the odyssey today and really enjoyed. decided to listen to the tooze pod on the odyssey only to learn he hadn't actually seen the film. do know why i expect different. what a legend

Some lads I know used to share a flat and one of them would habitually slam his laptop shut when the other would walk in the room. This went on for ages until curiosity got the better of the other lad. When he got the chance he flipped the screen up to see a YouTube video of a JCB in action

I thought I might live to see the US wage hybrid warfare on another western country but I didn't think it would be a capitalist one, and not by such visibly grotesque means. All bets aren't off yet, but it's a matter of time

reminding everyone that Galway have a real chance of losing 3 out 4 of the senior all Irelands this year which would be way more historic than anything mayo have ever done

can't remember who originally posted it over on the other place but sharing it again here because ‘Mickey Mouse with an Offaly accent’ never fails to make me laugh
