That "men should be allowed, without judgement or consequence, to do an amount of harm to women and girls that I personally deem acceptable" seems to be a genuine opinion still held by too many people in the year two thousand and twenty six is incredibly grim

I think this is my favourite Pictish carving, the utter confidence in the line with what its depicting, a close breathing familiarity to the natural world. Is it a tribal marker? Showing where these animals are found bountiful? Just a sheer joy of expression, a gratitude to these beings existing?
