My understanding of UK libel laws is you cannot defame the dead, so the best way to see if McConnell is alive is to accuse him of something defamatory and see if he sues. No court case, no pulse

0 years: I was 7 weeks early and for several years held the record as the smallest surviving baby in the hospital I was born, and was in an incubator for several weeks after birth. With a working class family back in the late 60s, my chances of survival without the NHS would have been zero
